Robust and Accurate Method for Chloramphenicol Quantification
TRANSIA PLATE Chloramphenicol is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the detection of Chloramphenicol (CAP) and its major metabolite (CAP-glucuronide) in a variety of matrices.

Protocols Available for a Wide Range of Applications:
Sample preparation procedures are available for a range of matrices including meat, shrimp, crab, fish, milk, egg, honey, feed, and bovine and porcine urine. 

Detection of CAP-glucuronide
The polyclonal rabbit antibody used is able to detect Glucuronidated CAP, the main metabolite of CAP in urine.


TRANSIA PLATE Chloramphenicol:

  • Format: Microtiter Plate (12 strips with 8 removable wells each)
  • Total incubation time of the test is 90 min
  • CAP standards are ready to use: 0.025, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 2 ng/mL
  • Limit of Detection: from 0.01 ppb (depending on matrix and extraction procedure)
